The BlogNet Awards site is committed to encouraging all of our participants to create user comments to all of our blog owners who are nominated for the BlogNet Awards. As a result of our ongoing commitment, we have created a monthly comment contest, to help our readers become more aware of the different nominations, as well as giving our commenter’s an ability to get themselves known.
Our goal is to maintain a blog community where everyone can feel free to express their opinions, but we also recognize that some comments can descend into negative opinions, which might include negative sniping or personal attacks or even spam.
When this occurs, we reserve the right to delete those comments which violate our Comment policy which is described below.
Comments that are Encouraged:
* Comments that are on topic and talk to the nominated blog
*Comments that are open to being contradicted by other commenters
*Comments that are positive/constructive in manner.
*Comments that might not like a nominated blog, but do not insult the blog owner or the other commenters.
Comments that we Frown on:
* Comments that are off topic or are not responding to the other comments made within a nominated Category.
* Comments that insult the blog owner or other commenters
* Comments that are excessively long or are negative in tone.
Comments will be Deleted without Notice that Are:
*Comments that threaten, invite, or encourage violence
*Comments that are fraudulent, unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, offensive, pornographic, profane, sexually explicit or indecent
*Comments that are derogatory of others on the basis of political affiliation, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual preference or disability
*Comments that Contain advertising.
*Comments made by commenters who misidentify or misrepresent themselves.
*Comments that are spam. Spam is defined as random comments that have no relevant content with links to their own site. Such comments such as ” nice blog” “cool blog” “I voted” are considered spam comments.
