Animal Ethics is a blog site, started in November 2003, that is as it says ” a Philosophical Discussion of the Moral Status of Nonhuman Animals” This nomination for the Best Animal Blog at BlogNet Awards shows that people blogging are concerned with the many issues facing “non human” animals today. On Animal Ethics you will read about such things as Mercy for Animals, The World Society for the Protection of Animals as well as interesting discussions such as Animal Companions - Should we keep Pets?

There is really a lot more to say about this topic these days than ever before. I salute you for speaking out on it. All non human animals deserve humane and compassionate treatment whether they are our house pets, or cattle or chicken being raised as a food source.

Animals are friends. It is best to treat them with compassion yet with caution for each has it’s own bad side. But as long as people knows how to handle their attitudes, we’re good. This blog surely helps open the minds of animal haters out there.

Hello,
As a cat lover and owner (all of them adopted by me or they did the adopting!), I can only say that we should treat animals with love and respect. We also have a pony and a donkey.
We learn a lot from our animals. They can be very wise and loving and they share that with us if we allow them to.

I commented in Nov. that there were some good information on this blog, but I have to reassess my opinion. After just revisiting this blog, six of the last 8 posts are nothing more than relinking to an article, video, or something else. I don’t see any quality information on this blog regarding animal ethics.
