Charity Navigator
By admin on Apr 5, 2009 in Best Charity Blog
Nominated for Best Charity Blog is the Charity Navigator blog. The person who nominated this site said “This blog is one of my favorites as it is written by professionals who share their thoughts on emerging issues about the different charities and they offer some very good tips as well.”
Self-described as “the nations largest independent charity evaluator and leading donor advocate”, this site is committed to the task of making us all astute charitable givers and participants. After reviewing the site we discovered this blog is educational in many ways. You can learn about your state’s statistics on how donor dollars are spent. You can learn both to participate in and lead a non-profit with the greatest benefit both to the group and to yourself. Posts, videos, links and Twitter updates on the right of the page informed the BlogNet Awards Team of the latest news in the world on non-profits. This is a serious, but easily-understood look at how we spend our charity dollars. If you’ve ever given charitably at all, you’re going to want to look this one over.

You seem to post at least one article everyday. I would advise you to lay more importance on quality then on quantity.

Nice blog to focus on and highlight various charities, but it needs a more pleasant eye grabbing theme.

The layout looks plain. Front page shows too much post, which slow down the loading time.
