Nominated for Best Inspirational Blog is Daughter of Cancer. This very special blog was described by the nominator as a site that talks about a 31 year old woman who deals with her mother’s death from glioblastoma, a terminal form of brain cancer. She started writing it shortly before her mother’s death.
Rather than try to critique or review this blog, the BlogNet Awards Team has decided to tell you in the authors words what this site is about “I’m a contradiction. I’m an extrovert and an introvert all rolled into one. I’ve wanted to write this blog for a long time, but couldn’t get it started. Seeing as I am incapable of telling my friends and family how I feel, I started this blog, not to inform them, but just to get things off my chest without feeling guilty for burdening them (even though they wouldn’t feel that way). My mom is (dying) died of glioblastoma, a terminal form of brain cancer. I’m not sure any other information is really necessary here. Who I am and what I do doesn’t matter, though it may come up in my posts. I have blogged before, but not about me, so bear with me. Chances are few if any people will be reading this anyway, so it really doesn’t matter.
