This site gave the BlogNet Awards Team a look at how they do it somewhere else. Quite frankly, for anyone from the western hemisphere, we would thing this would be particularly fascinating, as it looks at military training from a perspective completely foreign to our own. We surmised, from the last names and the flag, that this was India we were learning about. The poll at the top of the page asks whether or not the government should be required to hold jobs for the cadets, who are young men and women trained to be the country’s military defense, upon graduation. We immediately thought of the firestorm just asking that question would have cause in the US, from which some of us hail. It’s truly a different culture, but shouldn’t we examine other cultures and learn what we can from them? Review this blog. It never hurts to see life from a different perspective. You may be missing something from your vantage point.
