Home Is Where The Cars Parked
By admin on Jan 12, 2009 in Best Diarist Blog
Home Is Where The Cars Parked is nominated for Best Diarist Blog. The nominator of this site is also the author and she describes her site like this “In 2006 we were middle income Floridians with a home. In 2008 we are middle aged and homeless. In 2007 a company downsize left us with a car and what we could fit in it. This blog is a daily account of our homeless life with a twist of humor. Being bold and blogging is beautiful!”
As the team from BlogNet Awards reviewed this site, we could not help but become involved in the lives of this family. This blog is a testimony to how we can adapt, find strength and humor in times of great upheaval. This site will have you laughing, cheering and at times crying and horrified.

I sure hope things turn around for you soon. Reading your blog, especially the about you section reminded me of a book I read about homelessness called “Breakfast At Sallys.” Unfortunately, I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of people going through similar things as you.
