Nominated for the Best Diarist Blog category is Pretty Paragon which has as its description “A Doll Among the Toys” The nominator of this blog describes her blog as “A peak into the blissful life of a sanguine and adventurous 17-year-old lass who dreams of becoming a laureate in the field of Medicine and currently enjoys life as a writer, web and graphics designer, shutterbug and as a freshman BS Nursing student of the University of the Philippines Manila”

As the BlogNet Awards team did their review we found out that this young woman “Pretty Paragon” is actually Raiza Kasilag who when you go to her “about me” page will also show you that amongst her many talents is a poet. Raiza has created a very lively blog that is unique in how it is portrayed ( when you go to leave a comment on her blog, you will see something that is different than most blogs you will encounter) We liked the fact that she keeps her blog active by answering those who talk to her, but maybe we are more impressed by this 17yr old who dreams of nursing, but also realizes that she is still 17 years old.
