Best Online Community Blog

Slashdot is nominated for the Best Online Community blog which has been described as a site for technology professionals and enthusiasts.

When the BlogNet Awards Team went to this site we read in the header”News for Nerds. Stuff that Matters”. While we may not be nerds, what we found on the site was very interesting and to be honest engrossing. We liked the theme which was easy on the eyes and the layout is easy to navigate. Some of the topics that you will see are such stories about security issues for example How the next ad you click may be a virus which is about how ad networks might be unintentionally selling empty space for maleware loaders, a must read for anyone working online. This community blog showcases stories submitted by many and are commented on. This is not just a great community but a terrific bookmarking service as well.

After you visit this blog, make sure that you vote and comment to enter the Comment Contest.
You need to log in to have your votes or comments count in the BlogNet Awards Comment Contest. Remember when you click on the stars one star means “poor” – 10 stars means “best”. Read the Contest Rules for all the information regarding our contests.
