The Culturepin
By admin on Nov 12, 2008 in Best Culture Blog
Nominated for the Best Culture Blog is The Culturepin. The nominator for this blog felt that this blog deserved recognition, as he words the description “It is three years worth of completely original, intelligent and insightful content on popular culture, philosophy, technology, spirituality and more from a prolific and fascinating personality. The byline is “observations from the frontier.”
As the BlogNet Awards team, visited the site, we found articles about gaming, his viewpoint on such things as viral videos, mini film reviews and many other topics. We found this one statement on his blog that helps to explain this bloggers view about his blog “The Culturepin is about a lot of things, but it is primarily about contemporary culture. I say this to allay any confusion that may arise in my readers about the recent pattern of discussing video games. But if home video game consoles/entertainment centers are not a bona fide part of our daily life, then I don’t know what is”
