The Useless Information Superhighway has been nominated for Best Humor Blog. This site has been described as a blog that contains odd news stories that are strange, absurd, amusing, bizarre, and funny. It’s the news you can’t use and the strange but true stories you just can’t put down.
As the BlogNet Awards Team were reviewing this site, we found a mix of news stories from different news papers ie. United Press International, many videos from tv stations, as well as different live feeds from such places as The Smoking Gun, Onion Radio News etc. The author of this site is a 36yr lady named kmccullum’s from California and she enjoys meeting news junkies who like a shot of comic relief in their current events. This is a blog that will have you laughing or at times shaking your head in disbelief.

The information really has no common theme, and many of the video links are dead within a few days. It lives up to its blog name.
